It was published by Khanya College as part of a special partnership between the Finnish Literature Exchange, the Jozi Book Fair and Khanya Publishing to promote reading and writing, and literary and cultural exchange. The original title was written in Finnish, and was translated into English and then into Tshivenda and Sesotho.

About the Author

Sari Vento is a Finish author of children’s books and a writer of radio plays for children. In her literature Vento uses mythical figures to broach difficult subjects for children. She works as a kindergarten teacher in Finland. Mika Launis is an accomplished and award-winning illustrator of children’s books.
