About the Book
As a contribution to remembering the struggles of 1976 and other student struggles during apartheid, this gives a concrete understanding of the intensity of student struggles on the eve of the 1976 period. The book brings together a series of interviews conducted with student activists who had been active, in the 1976 student struggles, the 1980s student struggles and the student struggles of the mid-1980s.
The book seeks to provide information that facilitates debates and discussions, which will help activists to draw organisational and strategic lessons that can be used in the process of building organisations and current struggles for free and quality education.
