About the Book
This book is a record of promises made by all major political parties, particularly those elected into parliament in 2014. All parties elected to parliament; those in power and those in opposition have made promises on a range of issues of concern to society. Their actions or failure to act in campaigning for certain laws and policies demonstrates their true commitment to their platforms and the sections of society they represent. The aim of the book is to allow citizens to compare policies between parties and the actions they take in pursuing these promises. It is also a handy guide that can be used to hold public representatives accountable to people who voted them into power.
